Learn to resolve conflict through mediation from the most qualified trainers in Georgia. The Center for Legal Solutions offers core courses as well training on specialized topics and advanced skills. Additional opportunities for training and education outside of the Center can be found on our ADR Community Calendar.
The Center's training programs take place at our beautiful facility in Downtown Marietta. Group discounts are available for training programs at the Center. Inquiries about mediation and training requirements are welcome.

UPCOMING TRAINING & EDUCATION PROGRAMS

The Center for Legal Solutions offers an exciting line-up of training programs for those interested in developing core skills as well as innovative programs designed to help experienced mediators target special area of practice and refine their technique.
General Civil Mediation Training
Our General Civil Mediation Training Course is designed for individuals who want to mediate, as well as for those who want to better represent clients in mediation. This class is designed to meet the basic training requirement for those who want to be registered as a civil mediator in Georgia.
This course helps participants develop the core competencies for mediators. Participants will put their training to use by engaging in numerous role play exercises during the course.
Course instructor Andrew Lewis was Deputy Director of the Georgia Supreme Courtē“ Commission on Dispute Resolution which oversees mediation programs throughout Georgia. He now serves on Cobb County Magistrate Court and has a private legal practice around Marietta. View Andrew Lewis mediation profile.
Opportunities in Alternative Dispute Resolution Field
Our Report on Opportunities in the ADR Field in Georgia was compiled by Jennifer Matte. Ms. Matte is a third year law student at Vermont Law School as well as an extern for the Consortium for Negotiation and Conflict Resolution. Her work with The Center for Legal Solutions has primarily focused on the emergence of specializations within the ADR community.
Ms. Matte's work is an incredible reference for those looking to start or enhance their dispute resolution practice in Georgia.
